Quiet little centre
of his universe
not knowing the doors
or the verse
being their key
Calm little storm
waiting to rise from
what’s within
the sun pushing through
not to long for the rise
this time let it overcome
no fight to maintain
the same
welcome the change
let it all in
flush down what’s left
of a broken past
remember but forgive yourself
to welcome it all in
